In the third episode of “Men Who Understood the Times,” we discuss whether or not Christians can discuss politics. We often hear that pastors, people, and churches should avoid talking about politics because the topic can be divisive. Is it possible that because Christians have avoided discussing politics, it has made it more difficult for brothers and sisters in Christ to have civil and spiritual conversations on tough topics. Perhaps we will be united on worldly topics as we apply Jesus Christ – his will, values, and salvation to every topic.
Is it also possible that if Christians do not engage in the conversations, then the only ones are engaging are non-Christians? If Christians remain silent on any topic, then Satan and his minions are more than happy to fill that void.
